Marketing Assistant / Copywriter

part TIME / in-house

You’ll help bring marketing ideas to life. This means writing and polishing copy for emails, websites, and social posts, coordinating communications between clients and our team, and contributing creative input on campaigns. You’ll also support project execution by keeping tasks organized and moving forward.

Location: Spokane, WA

Employment Type: Part-Time

Work Location: In Person

Expected Hours: 20-30 per week

Responsibilities

Copy & Creative

  • Write, edit, and proof marketing copy (emails, websites, blogs, ads, SMS, social).
  • Assist in brainstorming and shaping creative concepts under direction of senior team.
  • Content outlines for web projects.

Campaign Support

  • Build and schedule email/SMS campaigns.
  • Track results, share wins/losses, and suggest improvements.
  • Support SEO and website updates by coordinating with clients and our dev team.

Communications & Coordination

  • Be the communication bridge between clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Translate client meeting notes into clear project tasks.
  • Manage Asana boards and follow up on open tasks.
  • Help compile monthly/quarterly client reports with campaign results and recommendations

Internal Support

  • Conduct light research (competitive analysis, campaign inspiration, industry trends).
  • Support internal marketing efforts (newsletters, case studies).
  • Jump in on special projects — from drafting press releases to helping with event promotions.

Salary / Benefits

  • Flexible Part Time Schedule (20-30 hours per week, with room to grow)
  • $25 / hour
  • 2 weeks paid vacation (after 90 days)
